I am new to the area and have found a treasure box in the Pilates Edge. Filled with wonderful and welcoming women. I have found it all here from fantastic workouts to sources for all good things. Liane's style of teaching utilizes both her positive personality and a truly comprenhensive understanding of the Pilates Method.  Her sessions are challenging and rewarding, they will have you looking forward to having Pilates be a regular part of your life. Liane has been my Pilates instructor for the past 3 years.  She is dedicated, knowledgeable and patient.  She has helped me re-hab several injuries and given me great results.  She is passionate about improving bodies and minds. Her sessions are friendly, rewarding and challenging. Amanda is an inspiration for she truly "practices what she preaches".  I love her passion about what she does... I was impresses with her knowledge of natural supplemnets and alternative healing, I have had digestive and elimination issues and Amanda has been instrumental in helping me have positive changes.  The benefits from her yoga classes have been much better flexability, muscle strengthening and toning along with learning helpful breathing techniques.  One last thing about Amanda... that girl is so much fun!!  ~ Jodi K.

I was introduced to Leslie Attaway, From Pilates Edge, by my daughter. She believed it would be good therapy for recovering the strength loss in my core muscles because of a recent surgery. Honestly, I was not familiar with the terms “Core Strength or Core Muscles” which is emphasized in Pilates. I have been an athlete all my life and this was the first time I heard the above terms, let alone understand their meaning. However, Leslie quickly introduced the terms in explanation and in demonstration. In a few short visits I began to exhibit the proper breathing techniques which led to the proper exercise specific muscles in my back, stomach, legs and etc. To my surprise, my strength gradually returned to these areas which had been affected by the surgery. It became very evident, I was not overpowering the exercise with brute strength but allowing my core muscles and breathing to execute the exercise with minimal effort yet with effective results. Leslie’s professional and instructional methods have demonstrated not only success with myself but with her other clients as well. As she trains the brain to think and act differently, the body follows the correct patterns to achieve not only wellness but continued Wellness- Well done Leslie!!!! – Tony W. – Rehab Client

Recently, I had a hip issue.  I couldn’t seem to self adjust and make it better.  I sat down on Chris’ table and within just a few minutes he made me feel so much better.  Within just a ½ hour session, my hip issue was corrected.  Absolutely amazing!  Rhonda H. – Romana Pilates/Yoga Instructor

II first met Chris Bottoms at Pilates Edge.  My daughter believed the therapy would be good for my knee which had undergone total replacement.  Chris’ specialty, Myofascial Release Therapy, was something totally new to me.  Connective tissue therapy was as new to me as a foreing language.  My first session however, changed everything.  My leg, which could not lay flat or achieve a zero degree position, achieved zero degree.  Chris identified a short connective muscle alled the Popliteal Muscle and began to work his therapy (majic).  After a few minutes, the leg relaxed and lay flat on the table to my utter amazement.  The relaxation of the leg allowed me to begin a new range of motion and flexibility.  The encouragement was most reassuring. The continuouse therapy in different areas of the leg has brought a confidence for the knee’s healing and range of motion to be in the very near future. Since Chris Bottoms and Leslie Attaway (Romana Pilates Instructor) work at the Pilates Edge, I have worked out a schedule.  I meet with Chris first, he prepares the leg for relaxation whih allows for more complete stretching.  I then meet with Leslie who takes not only the leg but the rest of me to the next level of “Core Stretching”, “Core Breathing” and Wellness. I have finally found the ideal exercise workout with Chris.  I show up on time, lay on the therapy tble, Chris works his magic, and them I have confidence about a full recovery.  WOW!!!
