Pilates

Pilates is an exercise system designed by Joseph Pilates that dramatically transforms the way your body looks and feels by focusing on stretching and building strength with resistance. Pilates is excellent for developing a strong "core," or center of the body, and it develops an evenly conditioned body.  It elongates and strengthens muscles creating elasticity and joint mobility.  No other exercise system is so gentle to your body while giving it a challenging workout with incredible results.

Personal Training & Group Personal Training

We Can design a program to build strength, reduce stress and increase energy without a huge time committment.  An efficient, powerful, well -planned workout can give you the edge you need to make the most of your day.

 

Group Personal Training:  These are one-hourtraining sessions limited to four-eight people focusing on cardiovascular endurance, muscular strenth and muscular endurance.  Class format incorporate weights, aerobic excercises, calisthenics and stretching.  Groups usually meet twice a week for four weeks.  The class includes a general consultation, physical evaluation and a nutrition/lifestyle evaluation.

 

 

 

 

 

Myofascial Release

Do you have an aching pain?  Come on in and see Chris,   LMT, CPT, CKTP. Myofascial release is a form of massage therapy that uses sustained pressure to loosen or release tightness in connective tissues called fascia. Tightness within the fascia can cause restriction of muscle and other tissues, pain, scar tissue, and loss of motion. Injuries, stress, inflammation, trauma and poor posture may become symptoms of tight fascia over time. Myofascial release or "MFR" can help and/or alleviate the pain or problems.

There are many different yoga disciplines & types of workouts, and we are fortunate to have instructors on staff who are eminently qualified in all different types of classes.  All class sizes are small in size and individualized to meet your needs!

Barre – A workout concept that combines Pilates, Dance and yoga with a ballet barre based workout.

 

Core Yoga Fusion - This class works on your core while integrating Yoga .

 

Hatha Yoga - Gentle basic yoga class incorporating slow paced stretching, breathing exercises, relaxation and meditation.

 

Holy Yoga - The focus is to worship God with all our heart, mind, soul and strength as we prayerfully move our bodies in an expression of love toward the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

 

Kripalu Yoga - Is a gentle hatha yoga practice with a compassionate approach and emphasis on meditation, physical healing and spiritual transformation that overflows into daily life. In a Kriplau class, each student learns to find their own level of practice on a given day by looking inward.

 

Intermediate Mat Pilates - A mat Pilates class focused on lengthening and strengthening the entire body.

 

Mat Pilates (All Levels) - A mat Pilates class focused on lengthening and strengthening the entire body, whereas all levels are welcome.

 

Power Yoga - An amped-up  and effective version of Yoga!  incorporation of yoga to create a balanced, toned and fit physique.

 

TRX Circuit -The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. This intermediate level routine emphasizes muscular endurance and aerobic conditioning. Increases core stability and muscular endurance.  Extended workout duration builds aerobic endurance and burns fat for a lean, strong physique.

 

Yoga Pilates Fusion – An effective mind/body fusion of both yoga and pilates. The focus is on lengthening and strengthening the muscles, while working the core or “powerhouse” through Pilates.

 

Vinyasa Yoga Flow - A progressive series of asanas (postures), linked with a specific breathing technique building strength, flexibility, balance, increasing internal heat, releasing sweat and toxins, and purifying the body.
