Chris completed close to 200 hours of CEU credit and began an internship in MFR until 2001 and was then ask to teach MFR for New Life Ins. As well in 2001 he began a comprehensive self study for postural analysis and gaiting. In 2001 Chris began research to become a personal trainer. His main goals were to better understand some of what clients did with their own trainers, and to understand common injuries associated with training. Chris has always had an interest in Powerlifting and the more Strength and Power side of training. He pursued a few Strength, Conditioning, and Plyometrics CEU's after his general CPT certification.Since then Chris has acquired over 15 graduate level licensures in the study of MFR, Somatoemotional Response (Unwinding), Energy Work, and Fascial Therapies. In 2005 Chris was asked to write a program for Georgia Career Institute and after only 6 months they offered and allowed him to more than triple the time, 24 hours, of credit to a full term course 90 hours. In the eleven years Chris has taught MFR he has acquired hundreds of students whom he truly loves to help and educate. Chris still teaches at GCI currently. In 2010 the American Massage Therapy Association (AMTA) selected Chris to help them write, with 5 other specialists, a CEU course and book for Fascial Therapy. Before the AMTA selected each person for this project they did research to determine who was best suited based on experience for the position. Interestingly enough as a side note, as well as inadvertently, they discovered that Chris is the youngest MFR specialist of his age in the country. As well he is only Massage Therapist at his age that massage was his first career that lasted over 6 years in practice, and is a specialist. In 2011 Chris began study in the area of Kinesiology tape. One of his clients had been prescribed it through an injury rehab plan and thought Chris would benefit hugely through it. Chris started his study with Kinesis Tape and completed all the required certifications as well as their exit exam to hold their CKTP credential. The work is very new and exciting, but highly effective in its results. The tape offers a lot of treatment options that traditional MT's don't or can't tap into, such as bruise treatment. For over 14 years now Chris has devoted his life to the world of Structural Integration and chronic pain care. He is a current college student and will continue to research and develop better methods to help those in need.
